Problem Description:
When a scheduled backup is performed on a Mac OS X computer, the following warning message is received in the backup report:

 No. Type Timestamp Backup Logs
 1 Info YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm Start [ Mac OS X (AhsaySupport), AhsayOBM x.x.x.x ]
 2 Info YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm Start running pre-commands
 * ... ... ...
 * Warn YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm JVM Royalty module is not enabled. No file can be backed up.
 * ... ... ...
This issue will only affect newly installed AhsayOBM / ACB on Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later with Java 8 or above.  Also, this will only affect scheduled backup job. 

This issue will not affect AhsayOBM / ACB clients that are auto-upgraded, or manually patched to version

This is a known issue with AhsayOBM and AhsayACB version 

To resolve the issue, patch the AhsayOBM / ACB application with the following steps:

  1. Download the hotfix patch file by Clicking Here.

  2. Shutdown the backup scheduler by running the following command:

    >sudo /Applications/AhsayACB/bin/


    >sudo /Applications/AhsayOBM/bin/

  3. Install the patch set / hotfix files:

    Expand [ ] downloaded to [ /Applications/AhsayOBM ]

  4. Restart the computer
