Change path for localDB in IASO (changing temp folder for backup)
- Stop the service "Backup Service Controller"
- Check if processes 'BackupFP','BackupSC' & 'Backup Manager' are stopped. If not, stop them manually
- Edit 'config.ini' file in "C:\Program Files\Backup Manager\"
In the file config.ini (found in \\Installation Folder\Backup Manager\), change the following entry:
- PathToLocalStorage=
Enter the location to which you wish the temp storage is set. Save the file and start the 'Backup Service Controller' service again. The software will now re-download the registry from the offsite backup server, and this can take a while, depending on the size of the backupset.
